Amélie

“Amélie” is a comedy of wonder about a young woman who discretely orchestrates the lives of the people around her, creating a world exclusively of her own making. Shot in over 80 Parisian locations, acclaimed director Jean-Pierre Jeunet (“Delicatessen”; “The City of Lost Children”) captures the exquisite charm and mystery of modern-day Paris through the eyes of a quirky and fun young woman.  This is a Picture Show favorite.  Not your typical movie to screen outdoors, we think that screening movies like Amélie is one of the many things that makes the Picture Show a unique movie experience in Los Angeles.
